NPA Producer Survey on current supply chain situation

In order to gain a better understanding of the current situation in the pig sector, we have put together a survey for producers.

A wave of cuts made by the major processors in recent months has left many independent producers is a very difficult situation. The NPA has been discussing the impact and possible solutions for both short and long term.

To help us better understand what is happening in the sector, we have created a producer survey. The survey seeks to understand the nature of contracts and how many producers have been given notice, as well as the number of pigs that will be without a market when notice periods run out.
